Ladies Opening Day was April 7th, 2016!
The ladies were unable to play golf due to the weather but that did not stop them from participating in the Opening Day Cocktail celebration!
The Opening Day Cocktail Party was in full swing at 6:00 PM with everyone coming in so happy to be reunited with their golf partners. Everyone was mingling, talking about their winters seasons! We had an array of excellent food and everything fell into place. The board members spoke about the upcoming season and the nuances of the various techniques of the tournaments – Barb Morris is the Tournament chair and has been coming up with such AMAZING and CREATIVE tournaments like a Tricky Treat for the fall!
After the board spoke, our wonderful Pro, Sue Delaney came up and spoke about the new local and PGA rules that we have on the course. What a great lesson for all the players – everyone seemed very eager to learn about the local and PGA rules!
Overall, the night was a success! The BRWGA had a wonderful turn out and had a great time reconnecting!
Also, we sang HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Jeanne Lynch our BRWGA Treasurer! Thank you for spending your birthday with us! 🙂
I am hoping everyone enjoys these wonderful pictures as much as I did. Ladies, you all look so happy to be back at BRCC for what promises to be another amazing season on the greens!
